My dad, Mr. John Currin Howard, has always been on a diet, and his diet of late revolves around not eating anything "white." No white potatoes, no white rice, no bread, no sugar. Dad makes some exceptions (mostly when no one is looking), but he openly cheats his carb rule when we have our Beer and Cheddar bread on the menu at C&F. It's kind of like a loaf of yeasty-sweet beer bread and a tin of cheese straws had a baby with crispy top and bottom and a moist aromatic crumb.
To expedite his carb affair, Dad just tears off a corner (there's a lot of crispy cheese there) and goes at it. This approach is not recommended. At least warm the bread. But in my opinion the best life for this bread involves toasting individual slices and making a double-stuffed BLT.

No and no.
How many does it serve?
The bread is in a 2 pound loaf pan. How many that serves is up to you and your generosity.
How long will it keep? Should it be refrigerated? Can it be frozen?
If you're not going to enjoy the bread soon, please store in the refrigerator to help keep it fresh. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. If you need to wait longer, the bred can be stored in the freezer for 2-3 months.
How should I serve?
Remove the loaf of bread out of the aluminum tin and place on a cookie sheet. Heat the whole thing up in a 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. If you're more of a toasting kind of person, cut the bread into half inch slices and toast them on a cookie sheet at 375 for 10 minutes. DO NOT PUT THE SLICES IN THE TOASTER or the cheese will burn.

What’s the deal with shipping?
All orders are shipped via 2-Day FedEx on the Tuesday and Thursday following your order.
As much as we’d love to hand deliver your package, we haven’t figured that out yet. So we have to rely on FedEx to do that job for us and, while we have full faith, we are unable to guarantee delivery by a specific date.
Can my order be shipped to a P.O. Box?
Shucks, no. Our precious cargo is shipped through FedEx and they are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.
